Practice History

surgerypic1.jpgThe Hadleigh practice was established in 1906 when Dr J Norman came to Broadstone. He was joined by his two sons, Drs Dick and Bob Norman.

Dr J Norman was born in the village of Hadleigh in Suffolk and named his home in Broadstone 'Hadleigh House'. After several moves the practice finally stayed at No 20 Kirkway in 1979. In keeping with the tradition, our Corfe Mullen surgery (built in 1996) was named 'Hadleigh Lodge'.

surgerypic2.jpgThe practice has grown steadily from single-handed to the present 10 partners, with a corresponding increase in employed and attached staff. Our approach is to combine traditional family care with modern health advances.
