ITQA (Information Technology And Quality Audit) Team

Clare Farmer - ITQA Team Leader

Traditionally, ITQA was known as the Admin Team but the role and purpose of the team has had to accommodate a great deal of change in recent years. The team has had to adjust and learn new skills and hence a change in name was appropriate to reflect their new role. The ITQA team are one of two important "behind the scenes" teams. They are first line support for all IT matter and have to cope with both the software and hardware issues that arise. They are a busy team and have to balance the priorities of IT support with producing audits that are required to measure the performance of the Practice against the targets identified by the DoH and the CCG. Lastly, as an important part of patients well-being, the ITQA team are responsible for data input and maintaining patients records as well as issuing calls/recalls (invitations) to patients to attend specific clinics.
