Hadleigh House Doctors
Dr Robert Timmis MB BS (1988) MRCGP DRCOG
Dr Timmis joined the practice in 1994 after qualifying at University College London. His medical interests are diverse and include family medicine, child health and rheumatology. Having been with the Hadleigh Practice for over 30 years it is a real privilege to have cared for multi-generations of patients at the Hadleigh Practice; many of the children he saw earlier in his career, now have their own families.
He is a GP Trainer and enjoys being involved in medical education.
He is married to one of the Practice nurses, so don’t be surprised if she accidentally calls him “Darling” during a minor operation!
When not working he enjoys sailing, cycling, running, swimming and the very occasional game of tennis or golf.
Dr Andrew Purbrick MB BS (1996) BSc DRCOG DFSRH MRCGP

Dr Purbrick qualified at St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical School, London and undertook his GP training at Poole Hospital and here at the Hadleigh practice. He has been a Partner since July 2002. His special interests include minor surgery, men’s health, general medicine, and skin lesions. He is married with two children and two springer spaniels. In his spare time he enjoys running, cricket, cycling and clay pigeon shooting. He is a GP trainer and medical student trainer.
Dr David Hogan MB BS (1995) BSc DCH MRCGP 
Dr Hogan qualified from St Bartholomew’s Medical College in London. He trained in London, the South West, Australia and New Zealand. He is a GP trainer. His medical interests include Psychiatry and joint injections. When he is not at the Practice, he is working for Poole North’s Primary Care Network as its Clinical Director. He is married and has three children. Outside of work he enjoys sailing.
Dr Julia May MB BCh (1995) MRCGP DCH DFSRH 
Dr May joined the practice as a salaried assistant in October 2004 after moving to Dorset from South Wales where she had been working in General practice. She qualified from the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff in 1995 and her special medical interests include women’s health, family planning and minor surgery. In her spare time she enjoys many outdoor pursuits, particularly windsurfing and cycling.
Dr Christopher Humphrey 
Dr Humphrey qualified from Bristol medical school in 2011 and underwent postgraduate training in both Bristol and Poole. He joined the practice as a salaried assistant in 2016 having completed his registrar training at Hadleigh lodge and is now a Partner. He enjoys the variety that general practice has to offer and his medical interests remain diverse. He is married with 3 young children and in the event of spare time enjoys climbing, cycling and being outside.
Dr Sara Cabrini MB (Hons) nMRCGP DFSRH 
Dr. Cabrini qualified at Southampton University in 2006 and undertook her postgraduate and GP training in Poole Hospital. She joined the practice in September 2012 after completing her registrar year in the practice, she is now a Partner. Her medical interests include general medicine and family planning, and she is trained to fit contraceptive implants. Her interests outside of work include travelling, crafts and being outdoors.
Dr Alice Martin 
Dr Martin qualified from Nottingham medical school in 2008 and worked in the Nottingham area for a couple of years before spending a year working in New Zealand. Having enjoyed living near the coast in Wellington she decided on a move to Dorset, where she started her GP training in 2011. She enjoys the variety of medicine the General Practice offers and is training to fit contraceptive coils and implants at the moment. Dr Martin has 3 young children who keep her busy outside of work and she enjoys trips to the beach with them in her time off.
Dr Johannes Nussmann MBChB, MRCGP (2021) 
Before moving to Dorset, Dr Nussmann has lived all across the globe including Germany, New Zealand, Australia and Scotland. He qualified from Dundee medical school in 2015 and underwent postgraduate training in Bournemouth and Poole. Alongside his clinical work he is part of the NHS England GP fellowship program, has an interest in medical education and is currently coordinating the Dorset First5 young GP network. He is married with 2 young daughters and enjoys kitesurfing in his free time.
Dr Emily Lyness MBCHB (2012), MPH-ID, DCH, MRCP, MRCGP

Dr Lyness qualified at Sheffield University Medical School after also completing a Master’s in Public Health. After foundation training in London she moved to Dorset with her husband to pursue hospital medicine, before then training as a GP.
Alongside her clinical work, she has an interest in Academic Primary Care working with the University of Southampton Primary Care Research Centre and also has a role as a Programme Director training local GP trainees in Dorset. She has a clinical interests in general medicine, child and women’s health. In her free time she enjoys baking, playing netball, exploring the Dorset countryside and learning to surf.
Dr Adam Davies
Dr Davies qualified from Southampton Medical School and undertook his GP training at Dorchester Hospital. His medical interests are sport and musculoskeletal injuries and joint injections. When not in practice he enjoys playing and watching any sport!

Hadleigh Lodge Doctors
Dr. Alistair Watkins MB BS (1989) MRCGP DRCOG 
Dr Watkins is the longest-serving GP Partner at Hadleigh Lodge, having joined the practice originally as a GP Registrar in 1994. He has particular interests in men's health, coronary heart disease and minor surgery. He is a GP trainer and is usually out of the practice on a Wednesday when he works from Bournemouth University helping to run the local GP education system. He is married with a large family and a number of pets. His days of playing rugby are now sadly over but he still enjoys keeping fit by cycling and walking. He also has a passion for sailing and can often be found in a boat somewhere on the harbour on his weekends off.
Dr Mark Bridgman BSc MBChB(nz) MRCP (paeds) MRCGP DRCOG 
First new Partner of the millennium, sacrificing an easy life Down Under! After training and working in New Zealand, he travelled extensively for several years before settling in Dorset. Medical interests: child and adolescent health, dermatology (in 2013, he obtained a Diploma in Dermatology from Cardiff University), palliative care, minor surgery and ENT. He is involved in GP Education and training of young doctors. He has five children! Enjoys rugby and wearing shorts!
Dr Helen Molyneux BSc MB BS (1991) DCH DRCOG DFSRH 
Dr Molyneux grew up in Poole and qualified in 1991 at University College and Middlesex School of Medicine, London. She joined the practice as a Partner in 2001. Her medical interests include Paediatrics, family planning and ENT. Dr Molyneux is married to a GP and has two children.
Dr Callum Harmer BM BS BSC MRCGP DRCOG
Dr Harmer qualified from Brighton & Sussex Medical School in 2012. He completed his postgraduate training in Jersey & Poole & chose to stay in Dorset to complete his general practice training. He Joined the practice after completing his registrar training at Hadleigh Lodge and is now a Partner. His interests outside of medicine include running & travel.
Dr Sophie Stone BM, MRCGP, DFSRH 
Dr Stone qualified from Southampton University in 2007. After completing her Foundation Years she worked in Perth Western Australia before returning to Poole to begin her GP Training. Dr Stone has an interest in Sexual Health & Women's Health and is now a Partner.
Outside of work Dr Stone has a busy family with her husband & two young sons & has recently started to enjoy competing in Triathlons.
Dr Aurelia Butcher MBBS, MA, BSc, MRCS, MRCGP (2011), DO-HNS, DRCOG, DFSRH 
Dr Butcher qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in 2003 and had a career in ENT Surgery before training as a GP.
She became a GP in 2011 and since then has continued to have a special interest in ENT, as well as in women’s health -
especially fitting and removing Nexplanon contraceptive implants. Outside of her clinical work she has other roles in medical
education, working with medical students and GP trainees.
Dr Butcher lives in Poole with her twin boys and husband, who is a GP Partner in Bournemouth.
She has lots of interests outside medicine - especially crafts, DIY & fitness
Dr James Charlton 
Dr Charlton qualified from Southampton University in 2010. He completed his post graduate training in Bournemouth and Dorchester, gaining experience in many specialities before completing his GP training at The Hadleigh Practice in 2017. He particularly enjoy the variety of medicine that General Practice has to offer. When not working he tries to spend his free time travelling, running and cycling around the Purbecks.
Dr Sarah Osafo MBChB, MRCGP (2021)
Dr Osafo qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2015. She returned to her hometown of Poole to complete her training. She has a special interest in psychiatry, women's health and public health. Her interest in public health emerged after undertaking public health fellowship during her GP training. Alongside her clinical work she is also part of the Wessex Primary Care Fellowship. programme and has been involved with the medical training of GP trainees. In her free time she enjoys running, swimming, going for walks with her family and getting stuck into a good novel.
