Repeat Prescriptions

pill_bottleYou may be able to obtain a repeat prescription without seeing your doctor. When your doctor has agreed, you can order your repeat prescription in the following ways:

  • By hand – drop your repeat slip (the right hand side of your prescription form) into reception having clearly marked the items required.
  • Onlineorder online by using our Systmone online service but you must ensure that you have registered with the practice to be able to use this service. (or you can download the NHS App)
  • Did you know that if you download the NHS app you can see when your repeat prescription has been issued by the practice. You can then be certain you can approach your chemist directly for this.
  • By email - scripts.hadleigh@nhs.net

Unfortunately we cannot take your repeat order over the telephone.

Please do not use this service to request a new medication, for advice or to request medical certificates.  For these, you need to make either a face-to-face appointment or a telephone appointment with a GP.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

symbol error 3Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed by the surgery and then a further two days for the pharmacist to dispense your prescription. Please remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account when requesting a prescription.
