To use the online ordering system you will need to contact the surgery to register with appropriate ID. Or you can download the NHS App.
You can log into the Systmone service here to order your repeat prescriptions online
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip. Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
Please allow two full working days for prescriptions to be processed through the practice & remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Please remember also that your Pharmacist may need time to prepare your prescription. This is independent of the surgery's time to process.
If you download the NHS app you can see when your repeat prescription has been issued. You can then be certain to approach your pharmacy.
As a Practice we have not had any consultation with theses pharmacies & do not endorse their services above our local pharmacies. Patients are reminded that it is their individual choice who they use as their preferred pharmacy.
Electronic Prescribing System (EPS)
We now provide electronic prescribing; whereby patients can nominate a pharmacy for their prescriptions to be sent directly to them. Your record will be updated with the pharmacy details which you provide to us. This means you will not collect a paper prescription from the surgery, your nominated pharmacy will receive a request for your medication electronically and they will dispense your medication.
Please note not all pharmacies are using the electronic system so you must check before nominating a pharmacy.
This service is not compulsory; patients who prefer to collect a paper prescription from reception can still do this.
