Spring 2025 Covid-19 Booster Programme
The Spring 2025 Covid-19 Booster Programme will commence on 1st April 2025
Bookings will open to the general public on Tuesday 25th March.
The following groups will be offered a COVID-19 booster vaccine this spring:
- Adults aged 75 years and over
- Residents in a care home for older adults
- Individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed (as defined in the 'immunosuppression’ sections of tables 3 or 4 in the government’s green book for vaccination: Chapter 14a, Covid-19 vaccination.
We are pleased to announce that we will be part of this step of the vaccination programme and will be
working similarly to the Autumn Booster Programme.

The National Booking System
The Hamworthy Club will be on offer on the National Booking System (NBS), therefore all appointments will need to be booked via 119, or by visiting here.
The National Booking System currently allows booking of appointments 4 weeks in advance. These appointments are released daily.
Your practice has no access to Covid vaccination appointments and due to current demand for General Medical services, we regret that our reception staff in practices are unable to assist you in booking your COVID vaccination. Please direct any queries directly to the NBS.
Our clinics will be available to book from 1st April, however appointments at our site always prove to be extremely popular. We apologise if you are unable to book with us but rest assured alternative sites are available in the local area. As previously, we will not be accepting walk-ins – strictly pre-booked appointments only.
Please note that invites will not be sent from us at the surgery. You will receive a letter from the NHS reminding you to book an appointment with the necessary information provided.
Lastly, if you or someone you know are newly housebound and unable to get out to a vaccination site and fall into one of the eligible categories, please let the surgery know so that we can ensure a nurse visit is arranged to administer the booster. If you have previously had Covid vaccinations at home, please be reassured you will be on our list to receive a booster if you are eligible.
We look forward to welcoming you back to The Hamworthy Club once again.
Many thanks,
Zeynep
