Dr Martin qualified from Nottingham medical school in 2008 and worked in the Nottingham area for a couple of years before spending a year working in New Zealand. Having enjoyed living near the coast in Wellington she decided on a move to Dorset, where she started her GP training in 2011. She enjoys the variety of medicine the General Practice offers and is training to fit contraceptive coils and implants at the moment.
Dr Martin has 3 young children who keep her busy outside of work and she enjoys trips to the beach with them in her time off.
