Dr. Alistair Watkins

Special interests: Men's Health, Minor Surgery Excisions, Joint Injections, GP Trainer.
Dr Watkins is the longest-serving GP Partner at Hadleigh Lodge, having joined the practice originally as a GP Registrar in 1994. He has particular interests in men's health, coronary heart disease and minor surgery. He is a GP trainer and is usually out of the practice on a Wednesday when he works from Bournemouth University helping to run the local GP education system.
He is married with a large family and a number of pets. His days of playing rugby are now sadly over but he still enjoys keeping fit by cycling and walking. He also has a passion for sailing and can often be found in a boat somewhere on the harbour on his weekends off.
