Dr Aurelia Butcher

Primary qualifications: MBBS, MA, BSc, MRCS, MRCGP (2011), DO-HNS, DRCOG, DFSRH
Special interests: Ears, Nose & Throat (ENT) & Women's Health
Dr Butcher qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in 2003 and had a career in ENT Surgery before training as a GP.
She became a GP in 2011 and since then has continued to have a special interest in ENT, as well as in women’s health, especially fitting and removing Nexplanon contraceptive implants. Outside of her clinical work she has other roles in medical education, working with medical students and GP trainees.
Dr Butcher lives in Poole with her twin boys and husband, who is a GP Partner in Bournemouth. She has lots of interests outside medicine - especially crafts, DIY & fitness
