Dr Harmer qualified from Brighton & Sussex Medical School in 2012. He completed his postgraduate training in Jersey & Poole & chose to stay in Dorset to complete his general practice training. He joined the practice after completing his registrar training at Hadleigh Lodge and is now a Partner.

His interests outside of medicine include running & travel.
