Dr Emily Lyness
Gender: Female
Primary qualifications: MBCHB (2012), MPH-ID, DCH, MRCP, MRCGP
Dr Lyness qualified at Sheffield University Medical School after also completing a Master’s in Public Health. After foundation training in London she moved to Dorset with her husband to pursue hospital medicine, before then training as a GP.
Alongside her clinical work, she has an interest in Academic Primary Care working with the University of Southampton Primary Care Research Centre and also has a role as a Programme Director training local GP trainees in Dorset. She has a clinical interests in general medicine, child and women’s health.
In her free time she enjoys baking, playing netball, exploring the Dorset countryside and learning to surf.
