Nursing Team
The role of the Practice Nurse
Practice Nurses are qualified, registered and accomplished health care professionals. We support the Practice and patients by providing clinics with a diverse range of skills and knowledge in order to promote physical and mental well-being. We provide clinics supporting the national screening program for cervical cytology, adult and childhood immunisations and the management of long-term conditions such as Diabetes, Asthma and COPD. We are particularly skilled in the management of complexed wounds and leg ulcers. We also provide travel health advice.
